We set out to create an online betting and casino information platform that Pakistani players could genuinely trust — with transparent terms, local context and a commitment to responsible play at every level.
q988 is an English-language online betting and casino information platform built specifically for the Pakistan market. From the very beginning, our focus has been on one thing: giving Pakistani players access to clear, honest and locally relevant information about online sports betting, live casino games and responsible gambling tools.
Whether you're following the Pakistan cricket team through an ICC World Cup campaign, placing bets on PSL T20 fixtures from Lahore or Karachi, tracking football leagues from your phone in Islamabad, or exploring live dealer games from Rawalpindi — q988 exists to make sure you understand what you're doing, what the terms actually mean, and how to stay in control.
We are not a government-endorsed platform and we do not claim that online gambling is legal or authorised by Pakistani authorities. Users are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws applicable to their location. Our role is to inform, not to advise on legal matters.

q988 didn't start as a large corporation with a boardroom strategy. It started with a straightforward observation: Pakistani players interested in online betting had to rely on information platforms built for entirely different markets — often in different languages, using unfamiliar payment references and without any regard for the local regulatory context.
We wanted to change that. Building from the ground up with Pakistan in mind meant designing every page for mobile-first access on Pakistan's data networks, writing content in natural English that resonates with how Pakistanis actually communicate, and making sure every reference to deposits or payments acknowledged the familiar rails Pakistanis use — Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah — purely as context, not as endorsements.
The concept for q988 emerged from observing a clear gap in the market. Pakistani users deserved an online betting information resource written in their language context, using their payment references and respecting their local environment — rather than being an afterthought to platforms built for European or Southeast Asian markets.
Pakistan has an overwhelmingly mobile-first internet population. Over 70% of online activity happens on smartphones — often on 4G connections in cities like Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar. We designed q988's entire interface around small screens and variable data speeds from day one, not as a responsive afterthought.
q988 is an English-language platform — deliberately so. Pakistani professionals, sports fans and tech-savvy users are fully comfortable consuming quality English content. We write in natural, direct English that acknowledges Pakistani context rather than translating from another language or mimicking a market where we don't belong.
From our first page to our last, responsible gambling isn't a compliance box we tick in the footer. Budget limits, self-exclusion tools, loss limits, time reminders and honest risk disclosures are woven into the fabric of q988. We want every player — from Karachi to Islamabad — to stay in control of their experience.
Today, q988 provides educational content covering sports betting (with particular depth on Pakistan cricket, PSL T20, ICC tournaments, football and UFC), live casino games, slot titles and the responsible gambling tools that every player needs to make informed, confident decisions.
Six principles guide every decision we make at q988 — from how we write content to how we build our support team.
Every bonus term, wagering requirement and withdrawal condition is explained in plain English. We don't bury the important details in fine print. If a condition affects your money, we make sure it's visible and understandable before you commit.
Every feature, every article and every support interaction at q988 is designed around the player's needs — not around pushing engagement metrics. If a responsible gambling tool limits a player's activity, that's a feature, not a problem to be solved.
Pakistan isn't just a market segment to us — it's the entire reason q988 exists. Our content, examples, payment references and sports context are built around Pakistani players in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar.
HTTPS/TLS encryption protects all sessions. Your personal data and payment information are handled with the same care we would want for our own accounts. KYC and AML procedures protect legitimate players, not just the platform.
Our support team operates in English and Urdu. Whether you'd rather discuss a withdrawal query in English or explain an account issue in Urdu, we meet you where you are — without judgment and without waiting days for a response.
The Pakistan market evolves quickly. New payment tools emerge, new cricket tournaments begin, new games launch. We commit to keeping q988's content, features and responsible gambling guidance current so that players always have accurate, relevant information.
Pakistan has one of the most sports-passionate populations in the world — and cricket is practically a national religion. The excitement around every PSL T20 season, ICC World Cup match and Pakistan vs India fixture generates enormous interest in sports betting content, odds analysis and platform comparisons.
At the same time, Pakistani internet users are sophisticated. They engage with English-language content naturally across professional, educational and entertainment contexts. q988 respects that sophistication by offering high-quality English content rather than a rough translation of someone else's platform.
We acknowledge Pakistan's legal environment clearly and without evasion. The Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, and other local laws restrict gambling activity. We do not claim government authorization, PTA approval, State Bank endorsement or support from any Pakistani financial institution for gambling purposes. Users must understand their own legal responsibilities.
q988 is built and maintained by a small, dedicated team with deep expertise in online gaming, content production, localisation and player protection.
Produces all English-language articles, game guides and responsible gambling content, written specifically for Pakistani readers.
Manages all technical infrastructure, HTTPS security, performance optimisation and the mobile-first platform experience.
Handles player enquiries in English and Urdu through Live Chat, Help Center and email — available around the clock.
Oversees responsible gambling tools, self-exclusion processes, and KYC compliance to ensure every player is protected.
For q988, responsible gambling isn't a legal disclaimer appended to the footer. It's a central design principle that shapes how we present information, how we build account tools and how we train our support team.
We believe every Pakistani player deserves access to tools that keep gambling entertaining rather than harmful. Loss limits, deposit limits, session time reminders and self-exclusion are not hidden features — they're prominently accessible from account settings and actively promoted throughout the platform.
q988 is strictly for adults aged 18 years or older — or the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. We take underage access seriously. If you believe someone under the permitted age is accessing this platform, please contact our support team immediately.
🔞 Adults Only: q988 is for users aged 18+ (or higher where required). Gambling involves financial risk. Never gamble money you cannot afford to lose. Local laws in Pakistan may restrict online gambling.
Set daily, weekly or monthly deposit caps in PKR to keep your spending within a budget you're comfortable with — before you ever need to think about it.
Define a maximum loss threshold per session or period. When your limit is reached, the system prevents further play until the period resets.
Receive alerts after a set play duration. Long unbroken sessions are a known risk factor — regular breaks help maintain perspective and control.
Request a temporary pause or permanent account closure at any time. No penalties, no judgement — your wellbeing takes priority over platform retention.
Need Help? If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling-related issues, please reach out to recognised responsible gambling support organisations in your region. Our support team can provide guidance in English and Urdu via Live Chat. Learn more on our Responsible Gambling page.
